ARD-DeutschlandTREND extra II

17 September 2009

About one and a half weeks  before the election of the German Parliament the Union could count  on  35 percent  of the vote like in the preceeding week. The Social Democrats could gain 3 points and would now receive 26 percent. The Liberals  reamins unchanged and  would receive 14 percent.  The Greens lose 2 points and could count on 10 percent of the vote while the Left Party loses 1 percentage point and would now receive 11 percent. All other parties taken together would get 4 percent. The Union and the Liberals taken together are still slightly stronger than the Social Democrats, Greens and the Left  Party combined (49:47 percent). If this would be the election result, a “black-yellow” coalition of the Union and the FDP would have a majority of seats.
